At “Relive The Music”, we welcome and encourage all ages, ethnicities, genders, LGBTQ+ to join us on our adventures from on stage and behind the scenes to in the audience across the globe! “Relive The Music” is created by a multicultural family of performers, artistic directors, creators, producers, and leaders. Having an international cast of singers and musicians from ages 19-75, we are proud of our diversity and creating opportunities inclusive for international performers. We eternally commit ourselves to hosting a safe space for all our audience members, entertainers, and crew. The “Relive The Music” Team is excited to bring back and celebrate the classic beloved music of the 50s/60s in a way that reflects inclusivity and diversity for all.

LUISA MARSHALL
Singer

Relive the Music singer Luisa Marshall.

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Luisa fell in love with theater after landing the role of Mary Magdalene in her high school’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar. She graduated university with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications before pursuing her true passion: singing. This paved the way to performances with the popular group Ambivalent Crowd and her own band Hall of Fame in Manila, Japan and Malaysia. In 1989, Luisa and her band came to Canada touring North America.

Her uncanny resemblance to Tina Turner paved the way for her world class tribute act, receiving rave reviews and standing ovations all over the world. Luisa was invited on Oprah twice and made a much-talked about special appearance on the ELLEN Show. Luisa performed in various fundraising events, including a grueling show tour for the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Bosnia and Sarajevo, performing for the Multinational Force and Observers in Israel and Egypt, and raising awareness for veterans with PTSD. 

In 2013, she was voted as one of the Top Canadian Immigrants. Luisa is a mother of two, Kimi and Zenia, married to Steve Marshall, a singer, advocate, producer, TV host of SMC – Shaw Multicultural Channel – “Simply The Best, The Luisa Marshall Show” and writer/publisher for MetroVan Independent News Online.And now #1 bestselling author of the Woman Of Worth book “Moms in Business” 15 Success Stories with Soul.

TOTA MENDEZ
Singer

Tota Mendez is a Singer/Songwriter originally from Manila, Philippines and is now living in Vancouver, BC. She started out as a drummer for a High school band and later on discovered that she can sing after auditioning for a Glee Club. Tota was active in Musical Plays and always adored the big stage. She started out as a Jazz singer and then moved on to Pop and Rock by joining cover bands. Tota also won a Songwriting Competition that was sponsored by Yamaha Corporation and MTV.

Tota’s been active in the Music Industry for more than 30 years. Joining the “Relive The Music” team has been a whole new experience and it’s been a blast! “I love Music so much that it isn’t a gateway for me to become rich or famous. With Relive The Music 50’s & 60’s, I finally found that purpose. And that is to make people happy. ENJOY THE SHOW!”-  Tota M.

ZENIA MARSHALL
Singer / Choreographer

Relive the Music singer & choreographer Zenia Marshall.

Zenia Marshall was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. This actress & alt-pop indie singer-songwriter comes from an artistic family of performers. Singing since her car seat days, she’s performed in many ballet, musical, and theatre productions since the age of 4, graduating out of cute toddler tutu animal costumes and not so cute goblin costumes to leading in various live shows such as Beauty & The Beast starring as “Belle”and “Buffy” in Buffy, The Vampire Slayer.

Zenia made her film debut alongside 80’s Pop Star Princess, Debbie Gibson in the movies “Summer of Dreams” & sequel “Wedding of Dreams”. Most known for her leading recurring role in TV series “Date My Dad” as “Mirabel Cooper”. She has also made an appearance in the CW TV series “SuperGirl”, guest starred on SYFY’s “Van Helsing”, and has recurred as a guest star on “Supernatural” to name a few. 

She also has a guest starring role as Keely on NBC-Universal-Peacock-Netflix new TV Series “One Of Us Is Lying”.

Check out her first single, “Ain’t Like You”, “Heaven and Hell” and her most recent release and music video, “Prove me Wrong”. Having toured worldwide with her mom’s award-winning and internationally-acclaimed Tina Turner Tribute act, and as an Ariana Grande Tribute Artist herself, she now finds herself performing for you with her awesome family in “Relive The Music ’50s n ’60s”!

MADELEINE CAMPEAU
Singer

Madeleine Campeau is a versatile Canadian-born actor whose passion for the performing arts has taken her on a remarkable journey. Trained extensively with a scholarship to AMDA, she honed her skills over four years and proudly graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre. 

Madeleine is a true triple threat, captivating audiences with her mesmerizing Mezzo Soprano voice and an extensive range of dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Theatre, and Jazz. She’s happy to be back home in Canada after living in the States (New York and Los Angeles) for five years. 

Madeleine a.k.a. Maddy is ecstatic being a part of the Relive the Music team. “I am so excited to be a part of such a fun and energetic show! I truly love these decades of music and can’t wait to celebrate them with everyone who comes to watch!”

JOHN PIPPUS
Singer

Relive the Music singer John Pippus.

From sharing a stage with Jackson Browne to playing to small, but appreciative coffee house audiences, John has lived a life filled with music and well-earned stories.

SCOTT WALTERS
Singer

Relive the Music singer Scott Walters.

Originally hailing from Edmonton, Scott has performed professionally across Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Barbados, Florida & at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. With many quality credits in Theatre, recently performing Catalyst Theatre’s “Vigilante”, also recording the musical soundtrack coming soon!  

Dabbling in film with a recent credit in Rob Lowe’s remake of The Bad Seed, Scott also teaches Voice Over for Actors with the kids at The Arts Umbrella in Surrey while managing A Little Bud in White Rock. Scott headlined Mirvish Productions’ “We Will Rock You, The Musical”, featuring songs from Queen.

Having lived in Toronto, Montréal, and Vancouver, he is a Graduate of the Grant MacEwan Musical Theatre Program in Edmonton. He sings and plays keyboards with his friends in a band called Fly Casual! Scott is always thrilled to Relive the Music and excited to share this night with you! Much love to his most supportive family, friends, and his dearest Daisy! Enjoy!!

TAINUI KURU
Singer

Tainui is an actor, singer, dancer from New Zealand. Tai moved to Vancouver in January 2020.

He studied a Bachelor in Music Theatre at the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art in New Zealand, earning the degree prize for outstanding achievement and commitment to studies. Musical theatre highlights include Beauty and the Beast, Les Miserables, H.M.S Pinafore, Cats, Grease, Guys and Dolls and most recently playing the lead role in the National Tour of Saturday Night Fever. Acting credits include Much Ado 

About Nothing, Groundswell: Stories from the Quake, and a national tour of Four Flat Whites in Italy.

Tainui has enjoyed performing as both a solo vocalist and with bands for audiences as far as Australia, England, Scotland, USA, Japan and China. Tainui was very fortunate to work with Sound the Alarm theatre company on their Canada wide tour of ‘Music of the Night’. As a headliner of “Relive The Music” 50’s & 60’s, Tai is excited to share the incredible songs of these two amazing decades. Music that has helped shape what we hear today!

DANE WARREN
Singer

Dane Warren was born in Vancouver British Columbia, where he has been a Musical Theatre Actor for over 15 years. He has appeared in many amazing productions such as: A Chorus Line, Oklahoma!, Guys and Dolls, Crazy for You, Titanic: A New Musical to name a few, and most recently he played Johnny Cash in the Broadway musical Ring of Fire! Dane Warren has had the privilege of traveling the world, bringing his love of music of the past to thousands through his concerts such as “Swingin’ with Sinatra”, “The Crooners”, “The Pack Is Back!!!”, “Come Fly With Me: A Michael Buble Tribute”

His love for the Golden Age of music and film began at a very young age. Dane studied all the musical greats of the past such as: Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, Dion, Jackie Wilson, Elvis, Tom Jones, Englebert Humperdinck, Neil Diamond and many many more…

With style and an air of cool, Dane definitely exudes the presence, talent and excitement that people expect from a show of this caliber, and he is looking forward to reliving the music with this amazing and talented group of performers! Relive the Music creator, producer and promoter – Steve Marshall.

Steve was born and raised in Prince Rupert, BC. He is an entrepreneur; having started as an owner of a small arcade in Masset, BC.  He’s the proud owner of Daddy Cools pub & grill, Mile Zero Inn, and an entertainment booking company. Steve is also a Red Seal Mechanic, producer, inventor of the Computer Hammer, and was a publisher of a newspaper.

Steve is also the Relive the Music creator, producer, promoter, drummer.

KIM KAOS
Guitar

Kimi on the guitar.

Kimi’s dreams of becoming a scientist/astronaut were dashed at age 9 when her parents bought her a guitar 

instead of the telescope she begged them for. She ignored the gift for some time. It wasn’t until her mom dusted off her guitar and plucked the classical piece “Romanza” that she fell in love with the sound of the guitar.

Her first big public performance was in front of 10,000 people on the PNE’s Main Stage with her mom’s internationally acclaimed and award winning Tina Turner Tribute show with whom she continues to tour all over the world with to this day. Throughout the years Kimi has found herself on stage and in the studio playing for various artists. In 2019, she and a pianist backed American Idol contestant Lauren Spencer-Smith on her live album “Unplugged, Vol. 1”  which was nominated for the 2020 Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year. 

Today, Kimi is grateful to share the stage alongside her family, friends and 5 guitars in Relive the Music ‘50s & ‘60s Show.

JOJO PALERMO
Keyboards

Jojo on the keyboards.

Vancouver-based musician Jojo Palermo has been tinkling the keys professionally for more than two decades, a talent he honed via his humble beginnings in Manila, Philippines. He has earned his bachelor’s degree through his sheer musical talent, juggling his time attending to his Electrical Engineering subjects before heading straight to his gig until the wee hours of the morning. He would stop schooling occasionally to fulfill musical contracts that would take him around Asia, playing mostly for 5 star hotel lounges/clubs.  

Prior to moving to Vancouver, Jojo was the fulltime keyboard player for the legendary Hotdog band that started the phenomenon of “Manila Sound” which transformed the music industry, giving it a fresh, new, and authentic “Pinoy” sound. For over a decade, Jojo’s juggling again between his full time job as Network Analyst and playing for the Luisa Marshall Band, Tina Tribute Show and the Relive The Music 50’s & 60’s Show.

MARLOWE MATA
Bass

Relive the Music bassist Marlowe Mata.

Born into a family of musicians, he completed his Bachelor of Music at the University of Santo Tomas and soon after graduation, became a sought after musician, teacher and musical director.

Marlowe received much recognition from the music industry in the Philippines including local pop bands, jazz ensembles and symphony orchestras. In Canada he found himself a principal bass seat for the Vancouver Orchestra Club and a former member of the Vancouver Philharmonic Orchestra.

He currently works at the YVR airport whilst continuing his love for music by night. Ultimately, he just wants to spread love, music and laughter to all he crosses paths with. Currently he proudly plays with the Luisa Marshall Band, Tina Turner Tribute and Relive The Music – 50’s & 60’s.

DENNIS TYMOSHENKO
Sax / Flute / Percussion

Relive the Music Sax, Flute and Percussionist Dennis Tymoshenko.

Dennis Tymoshenko is an excellent musician known for his heartfelt and sincere sound. As a flutist, clarinetist, and saxophonist Dennis plays is different stile of music from Baroque to Smooth Jazz. He holds his bachelor degree from Gliere College of Music in Kiev, Ukraine and Masters and PhD complete course from Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music. Dennis was selected as one of the students to go to study abroad in Conservatoire Lyonnaise, Lyon, France as part of the UNESCO cultural programme. 

After his graduation in 1999 he became a clarinetist in the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine and a professor of Tchaikovsky National Academy. 

After his move to Vancouver in 2012, Dennis has been successfully running his private studio in West Vancouver and participating in numerous concerts.

Dennis has been happy playing various genres of music with the Luisa Marshall Band, Tina show and “Relive The Music – 50’s & 60’s” show.

KURTIS HANNAS
Principal Sound Engineer

Sound god.

Kurtis is a Canadian audio engineer, musician, songwriter, and roadie, best known for his long-standing position as principal sound engineer for the Relive The Music 50’s & 60’s Show, Tina Turner Tribute Show and Luisa Marshall Band. He has also worked with a number of other rock musicians.

Kurtis enjoys working with the Relive The Music crew!!!
